Manila Tamarind Seeds / Pithecellobium dulce

Blackbead or Sweet Inga botanical name is Pithecellobium dulce, and it is a small to medium-sized thorny. This tree grows up to 10 to 15m in height. There will be a pair of egg-elliptical leaflets 2 to 4 cm long if you look at the back. The flowers are evergreen and reach about 12 cm in length. The flowers turn pink and open to reveal seeds. Inside the pulp are glossy black seeds, which are round and flat. The seeds of this plant help to cure ulcers, chronic diseases, diarrhea, tuberculosis. It is good for blood circulation and prevents abortions.
