Baliospermum montanum / Danti

Baliospermum Montanum is a strong shrub, which root has herbaceous branches in 0.9 to 1.8 m in height. The leaves are sinuate-toothed with small upper and large lower and sometimes 3-5 times. The flowers with some female flowers at the bottom and male flowers at the top are arranged in deciduous racemes. The fruits are capsules, which are 8-13 mm long and obovoid. The seeds are elliptical, smooth, and coated. The root of this plant has many medicinal properties used to cure constipation, dermic affections, abdominal pain, and helminthic infections.
